株式会社Kinobo, which operates Ukrainavi, undertakes practical work connecting Ukraine and Japan: interpretation, development, coordinating reporting, introducing companies, and research. We make the most of having people on the ground, and reliably handle what can be done online and within Japan.

Interpretation & Translation
We provide interpretation between Ukrainian, Japanese, and English, and translation of documents. Our member based in Kyiv handles this on Kyiv time.
- Consecutive interpretation for online meetings (Ukrainian ⇄ Japanese/English)
- Translation of contracts, technical materials, and official documents
- Acting as a go-between with local companies
- Translated documents are delivered with the name of the person in charge and the delivery date on record
We do not deliver machine-translation-only output. Translation from Ukrainian into Japanese is checked by both a native Ukrainian speaker and a native Japanese speaker.

Offshore Development
Contract development by a team of Ukrainian engineers. We state the team structure, working hours, and contract terms in writing before work begins.
- Development of web and business systems, and modification of existing systems
- Team organization chart and each member’s working hours presented in advance
- Contact procedures for power outages or communication breakdowns, and the storage location of deliverables, specified in the contract
- Ownership of intellectual property and the scope of confidentiality agreed on a case-by-case basis
On-the-ground working conditions change month to month. If something cannot be guaranteed at the time of your inquiry, we will tell you it cannot be guaranteed.

Reporting Coordination
For reporting work in Ukraine, we handle on-the-ground coordination, arranging interpreters, and gathering materials.
- Contacting and scheduling with interview subjects
- Bridging to local media, researchers, and companies
- Collecting and translating official materials and statistics
- Setting up and interpreting for online interviews
We disclose all safety-related constraints in advance. We do not accept arrangements that involve travel to Ukraine (see above).

Introducing Local Partners
We help find business contacts among Ukrainian companies, and introduce points of contact for companies considering entering the Japanese market.
- Identifying companies that match your industry and scale requirements
- Approaching the other party and arranging an initial meeting
- Explaining differences in business customs and contract practices in advance
- We take inquiries from either the Japanese side or the Ukrainian side
Our introductions are based on the information we were able to confirm. Please make your own judgment on whether and on what terms to do business.

Commissioned Research
We research industries, markets, and institutions, and compile the findings into a report. We cite our sources and clearly separate what we could confirm from its limits.
- Research into industry trends, competitors, and regulations
- Collecting and interpreting official statistics, laws, and local reporting
- Interviews with local companies and researchers
- Reports state sources, the date researched, and what could not be confirmed
When our research turns up nothing, we say we found nothing. We do not fill the gap with guesswork.

Because we are still at the launch stage, we do not accept political advertising, the sale of weapons or recruitment of combatants, or solicitation for high-risk investments.
